BioLite BaseCharge 600 & SolarPanel 100

5.0 rating

*Full disclosure – This is not a paid promotion. I had to send this generator back to BioLite and I was not paid in any form.

BioLite sent me their 622Wh portable power station along with its corresponding 100W solar panel to test and review. After reviewing several solar generators similar to this one, below are some of the features I found to be unique and helpful/useful.

BaseCharge 600 Portable Power Station

  1. Bright LED Indicators – able to see them light up even in the middle of the day outside
  2. Informative & Large LCD Screen – It has a message board that indicates when you activate/deactivate ports, when there’s an issue, and more
  3. Quiet Operation – Even when doing my AC output tests, the noise made from the BaseCharge 600 was minimal compared to similar power station models I’ve tested in the past

SolarPanel 100 Portable Solar Panel

  1. USB Ports (w/ 45W USB-C) – Some panels like this have USB ports, but few have a 45W USB-C port. This is very useful for fast device charging
  2. Long Charging Cable – The longest charging cable on a solar panel by a good margin. This cable is between 10-15 feet long!
  3. Lightweight – It’s easy to carry and its individual panels are very thin. This makes for a great portable tool that can be carried long distances if needed
